Sales and marketing professionals will join SCORE Bucks County mentors in guiding small business owners and entrepreneurs in how various marketing tools can be used to increase revenue during an upcoming workshop.

Set for June 11, the four-hour seminar features overviews from professionals with expertise in email marketing, social media marketing, Google and search engine optimization and the elements of a Website.

“Rather than a technical discussion of let’s say email or Facebook, the focus should be how can a business owner or an entrepreneur use Facebook to attract more customers,” said David Boster, a SCORE Bucks County workshop organizer. “These are small business owners and/or entrepreneurs looking to start a business.”

A former director of sales and marketing at an international scientific supply company, Boster will lead a discussion on “Sales, Art of Science.” SCORE Bucks mentor Don Goeltz, an associate professor of management-marketing at Holy Family University, will present Marketing 101.

Other speakers include:

• Lance Bachmann, president and founder of 1SEO.com (discussing Google and SEO)
• Marsha Pearson, owner of Emailmarketing.guru (discussing email marketing)
• Kyle Benoit, social media expert at the Walsh Group
• Drew Rigler, principal at Infinity Digital Agency (discussing elements of a Website)
• Tira Mitchell, owner and founder of Engraver.com (discussing small business success)

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with other small business owners, as well as ask questions of the presenters during panel discussions.

SCORE Bucks County’s Sales and Marketing workshop will be held on June 11 at Homewood Suites, 2650 Kelly Drive in Warrington from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $25, which covers the cost of lunch.
